Gladiator Team Rules

We are all grown men and will be treated as such by management, coaches and each other. This season will be a new and exciting experience for all of us. Our #1 objective is to win the National Championship and there is no reason we can't have fun on the road to that quest.

In order to be a successful organization, we must abide by the following:

1.
Be at practice ON TIME.
2.
Players must attend all team functions and participate in all team activities.
3.
TEAM - Is the most important word in the Gladiator vocabulary. We must stick together and respect each other on and off the field. Fighting with each other is strictly prohibited.
4.
Talking back to the coaches will not be tolerated at any time. Players failing to abide by this rule will be given an unconditional release. If a problem arises, conduct yourself as a gentleman and wait until after practice to discuss it.
5.

There will be no smoking or alcohol consumed on the Gladiator sidelines either before, during or after practice (unless it's a team activity). We must present a positive image for the community and ourselves.

6.
Let us ALL keep our foul vocabulary to a MINIMUM (including myself). Many wives, girlfriends, and kids may be on the sideline.
7.
We cannot 'nor do we wish to control your personal life outside the football field. We do however ask that when you are representing the team or wearing Gladiator paraphanallea in the general public, please conduct yourself like the Proud Champion that you are.

We understand that there may be occasional exceptions to rules #1 and #2. If circumstances arise, be sure to call somebody and let them know.

Stay healthy and let's kick some butt (refer to rule #6).

John Augustine, Head Coach / Buffalo Gladiators
